Shockingly, unlike their Nazi counterparts, most perpetrators escaped justice. In a bid to avoid Soviet prosecution, Dr. Shiro Ishii and his team traded their experimental data to the Americans for immunity during the Tokyo Trials, evading accountability for their crimes against humanity.
